Every review on SafariPulse goes through a moderation process to ensure authenticity. Reviews linked to confirmed bookings are marked as verified stays, giving travelers extra confidence in the feedback they read.
How TrustScore Works
Our TrustScore is a composite rating from 0 to 5 that goes beyond simple star averages. It evaluates multiple dimensions of a company's review profile to give travelers a holistic picture of trustworthiness.
Average Rating
The most important factor. This is the straightforward average of all approved review ratings (1-5 stars). A higher average indicates consistently positive guest experiences.
Review Volume
More reviews mean more data points and greater confidence in the rating. This component uses a logarithmic scale that caps at around 100 reviews, so companies are not penalized simply for being smaller.
Recency
Recent reviews matter more. This measures the percentage of reviews received in the last 12 months. A company with fresh, recent feedback scores higher, as it reflects current service quality.
Verified Stays
Reviews linked to confirmed bookings carry extra weight. This measures the percentage of reviews that are verified stays. Higher verification rates indicate the reviews are backed by real experiences.
Owner Response Rate
Companies that actively respond to reviews demonstrate engagement and care. This measures the percentage of reviews that have received an owner response. Active responders show they value guest feedback.
