Best Time to Visit
July to October for peak dry season — animals concentrate dramatically at pumped waterholes. August and September offer the most intense concentrations. The green season (November-April) is quieter with lush landscapes and migratory birds.

Park fees $20/adult/day. ZimParks rest camps from $30-80/night. Mid-range safari lodges $200-500/night. Luxury camps (Somalisa, Linkwasha, Verney's) $500-1,500/night. A 3-night Hwange stay costs $800-5,000 per person depending on camp level.
Getting There
2 hours by road from Victoria Falls to the main camp area. Charter flights from Victoria Falls (30 minutes). The park can also be accessed from Bulawayo (4 hours). Multiple entry gates: Main Camp, Sinamatella, Robins.
